Samsungimaging’s Special Invitation – The 2nd Imageloger’s Exhibition

Last Saturday, the Samsung imageloger’ s Exhibition was held at Samsung d’ light in Seoul. This second exhibition followed on the heels of the first successful exhibition held in June of this year.
Like the last exhibition, many people participated in everything from the opening ceremony to viewing Imagelogers’ photos to just enjoying the whole event.  The second half of the Imageloger’s Photo Exhibition will be held from December 18, 2010 until January 15, 2011 in the gallery hall of the Samsung d’light.
As you may or may not already know, Imageloger is a combination of the words ‘image’ and ‘blogger’. It refers to a social relationship or space through which we share stories by way of images. The Imageloger is aimed to contribute to a better and happier world while sharing images under the title of “I am a good blogger.”
Introduction of the Imagelogers and the reports on their activities were made by Samsung’s staffs in charge of this event. Ten Imagelogers from China visited the opening ceremony and celebrated the photo exhibition. They also didn’t forget to mention their expectation of Samsung’s new camera which will make its debut sometime in the upcoming year.
We can’t forget the awards ceremony for the best Imagelogers. Samsung awarded plaques and additional prizes to four Imagelogers.  They were surprised yet delighted at receiving the unexpected prizes. Also, Samsung held a lucky draw for the attendees by giving the Galaxy Tab and a Samsung camera.
While enjoying refreshments, attendees had time to appreciate 116 of the awesome pictures taken by the Imagelogers from 16 countries including those by Daniel Kulinski and Ben Heine.

Rapsberry And Cottage Cheese Muffins

Samsung Electronics has provided the author of this article with the mentioned digital imaging device.
Recently, I’ve celebrated my birthday and I decided to bake some sweet muffins. This might sound a bit girlish, but in the end, who doesn’t love muffins? Surely, even the toughest men must have a weak spot for them. So, let’s get started!
In this short recipe blog post, I will help you make some raspberry and cottage cheese muffins.
muffins1

Here are the ingredients we’ll need:
270 g flour
175 g very fine sugar
1 teaspoon of baking powder
a pinch of salt
2 eggs
4 teaspoons of sunflower oil
3 dl of skimmed milk
125 g skimmed cottage cheese
350 g fresh raspberries
If you have collected all of the above, it’s time to roll up your sleeves and get started!

Take a somewhat large bowl and mix all of the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt with a big spoon. Make sure you mix it well.

After you’ve finished, take an even bigger bowl and mix the remaining ingredients: the eggs, oil, milk and cheese. Use a hand mixer. I think it’s a good idea to add the cheese at the end and leave it a bit cluttered. This will result in nice cheesy bits in the muffins. After mixing these ingredients, add the mix of flour, sugar, baking powder and salt to it. Mix everything again so you get a nice batter.

Finally, add the raspberries. Make sure they are divided over the batter, but try not to squish them.

Now it’s time to divide the batter over your muffins tins. Fill them about 2/3 of the way full. You could also add those paper muffins shapes in the tin, but I chose not to use them since I didn’t have any!. You should have enough batter for about 12 to 16 muffins.
You can also use other berries like blueberries or strawberries in the recipe. Another tip for you: if you have a lot of berries in your batter, try not to have berries at the bottom of the muffin tin. This will give you a muffin with a moist berry at the bottom, it looks a bit wonky!
muffins6
Samsung NX10 │ 1/10s │ f2.0 │ 30mm │ ISO 400
Preheat your oven at 175°C and bake the muffin batter for about 20 minutes.

All done!
muffins8
Samsung NX10 │ 1/6s │ f4.0 │ 30mm │ ISO 400
Take the muffin tin out (be careful!) and leave the muffins in for about 5 minutes. Next, take them out and let them rest on a wire rack to cool down. It’s a bit fiddly to take them out when you don’t use muffin papers.

Now for the best step: eat them all!! Perhaps give away a few, but eat most of them yourself because you did a fine job! :)

Few days at Home

Following is Images taken by Samsung Digital Camera NX10.
Posted by Daniel.
Is getting colder and still raining. I hate this weather! Summer has not yet ended and now I look forward to the next :)
This time during his stay in the house that is in Zakopane I managed to take some pictures.

Zakopane lies at the foot of the Tatra mountains in southern Poland. The mountains are quite high and large there is where to go, but unfortunately lack of time did not go too far.

Samsung NX10 1/100s l f7.1 l ISO 100 l 200mm
The second reason is perhaps more important. In season there are so many people that need to get up very early that they were not there. Some of these photos I did at 7 am! and people have to walk. In the mountains it was so cold that my waterproof ( to 200m) watch was steamed!

How so now I look at these pictures is thought that in the end I did the normal photos. I came in good time, it was a great light, almost no one around.
Of course, it managed to do some of the small depth of field, which are my favorite.
