Rainy Paris

The Paris I know is the most beautiful when it rains. I like its stuffy metro, the parisians wearing in black, and all the historical bridges standing above la Seine full of rain.

I passed two years near Paris while finishing my master degree, so saw many other shiny days in Paris. It is also true that Paris shows off its particular charms under the blue sky. One of these charms is that we can always look over the Eiffel tower everywhere near the bridges.

However, my sweetest Paris is obviously with the rain. It is even romantic when Paris wears autumnal tints on its wet paths. This time, I had the chance to visit rainy Paris with falling leaves. I was there with my lover who just came back in France from the other side of the world. So I taked only the pancake lens for a long promenade with her.

We got off at St. Michelle by metro, then walked along la Seine from the Notredame until the canal of St. Martin, and returned back to the central Paris where we saw the museum Louvre in the night.

After a day of visit in Paris, we headed for Montparnasse to take a train. The lovely weekend wasn’t yet finished. We were a little bit exhausted because of wet socks and shoose, but the mind were full of love and expectations. We enjoyed the last Paris waiting the train at the station where people and birds were taking a rest keeping themselves away from the rain. A new life with her in my hometown was awaiting for me.
